Why don't you watch the series first and, if you like it, you can read the books.Quiguihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05602742240626521732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-703407003551541113.post-26616583945570201822011-07-15T00:36:37.283+01:002011-07-15T00:36:37.283+01:00Wow, you really liked it. I have the first four books right in front of me, on my to-read pile, and still didn't give it a chance. But according to everybody's critics I will certainly love it :)Lauhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17426512895293730328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-703407003551541113.post-66030672529437201642011-07-14T20:00:01.229+01:002011-07-14T20:00:01.229+01:00@Drake As long as they keep being great, I don'...@Drake As long as they keep being great, I don't mind :D

I know it's almost impossible to have an adaptation better than the original. Budget is always a constraint, and time as well. As for Tyrion's battle, I liked what they did, but I still felt a bit cheated.

@p7 There is a lot that is about the Starks, though, so it makes sense they should be the main characters (and they should have been safe from harm!). Right now I think the main character in the book is the Iron Throne. It all revolves around it...Quiguihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05602742240626521732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-703407003551541113.post-37629482401757834582011-07-14T18:48:03.791+01:002011-07-14T18:48:03.791+01:00Glad you liked it. :D

The two major battles were over in seconds due to budgetary constraints, where as the books are free to go nuts. The way they avoided Tyrion’s battle was ingenious and damn hilarious though.Drake Sigarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07472926482579087987noreply@blogger.com
